Sherlock - the BBC series sucks...

...because it's so damn good.

I've seen the RDJ films, and they're good.

But this show is better.

Way better.

But, being a British show, they have "series" rather than "seasons".

To make things worse, this show consists of two "series"...of three episodes each.

That's right - over two years, there's only six episodes.

Of course, they were written/co-written by Steven Moffat...the "new guy" behind Doctor Who and the genius behind Jekyll another British literary classic that was set in modern day.

How big is this show? Well let's see...take away all (and I mean all) the fan fiction, and you've still got:






Benedict Cumberbatch, now the main villain in the next Star Trek film.












And Martin Freeman, Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit two-part/triogy.










Not bad for six episodes...
