So - returning to Ravnica...

I finally had some time to delve into the new cards and found this...

The Bad: it has a high casting cost for only 4 1/1 Goblin creatures.
The Good: it has a high casting cost...for 4 1/1 Goblin creatures.

Anything that gets more Goblins in play is a win.

Then there's Guttersnipe:
My biggest problem with this card is remembering to deal the damage every time I can.

Ravnica seems to focus on multicolored decks. And while I do plan on creating such decks around Werewolves...and possibly Zombies...I just can't make myself do it with Goblins. The define red decks to me. So while this card may be cool, I really don't see including it in my future.

Then there's Survey the Wreckage.
Let's see...
* It puts another 1/1 Goblin in play.
* It destroys an opponent's Land.
* It's a Sorcery card...which means with Guttersnipe on the battlefield I can also ding all my opponents for 2 points of damage.

Yep, I'll be adding this one. Even with the high casting cost, it's worth it...
