Morning Pepe!
It's true - A: AoU fell to third place this weekend in the States.
I know Jean-Luc, let's take a knee for a sec...
...but despite this setback, the film made an additional $38.8 million.
(On a side note, the third week of Marvel's The Avengers brought in $55.6 million in the U.S.) This brings the Domestic total to $372 million.
That's pretty good...but only 32.6% of the film's total earnings.
Easy there Colbert...
Let's look at the Foreign market,
which has brought in a total of $770 million to date.
The biggest contributor to the cause has been South Korea, with $72.5 million. The U.K. is next, with $61.7 million. In Russia it's made $31.2 million, in France $28.9 million, Brazil $27.8 million and $27 million in Australia. And a big shout-out to Serbia and Montenegro - where it made a whopping $48,605.
In any case, A:AoU is sitting pretty at just under $1.143 Billion worldwide.
In 17 days.
Just a reminder - Marvel's The Avengers made $1.5 Billion...after 154 days.
I'm not interested in whether or not that 17 days is a record, but if Ultron does eventually beat Avengers, that would be a pretty sight.
Have a good week all!
