The Good: A little more detail about what happened with Astra in Newcastle.
* Zed feeling Gary's addiction withdrawal and guilt.
* The special effects after John took the mist...not Flash's Mist, but some other mist...right?
* The point of this episode was to show John's loneliness. He has mates, but things happen to them. Sometimes he's directly responsible, sometimes not, and now Zed (and the rest of us) get it.

The Bad: I'm not as familiar with these characters as I am with those from all the other shows, so I had no idea this episode came from the books.
The WTF?: My understanding of Zed's powers is that she needs to touch things to get anything off them. So why did she get knocked but when Gary grabbed her arms to escape since she's wearing long sleeves? Do her powers work through her clothing? If that's true, wouldn't she be overwhelmed by anything she touched, especially in John's mill-house?

Turns out I was wrong, but there's nothing to keep Louis Sendak from showing up at some point. Right NBC?
