It seems T'Challa won't be getting his own movie before Avengers 2, and frankly I don't understand why.
Marvel/Disney seems to be following the pattern set up in "Phase One" where five individual films precede the team-up, rather than include a sixth film featuring Wakanda's legendary king.
On one hand, it's smart - because squeezing one more film into the schedule could result in a less than stellar result...which wouldn't help the character, the ongoing franchises or Marvel Studios.
On the other hand, we fans are deprived of what looked to be a pretty bad-ass film.
I still say that T'Challa should make an appearance in Cap 2 just as Black Widow did in IM2...but with Nick Fury, Winter Soldier and Falcon already in the script it would be too many characters to juggle.
Although they did do a good job with that in Avengers...so who knows.
Wouldn't it be cool to see the effects of Asgard's Casket of Winters in Wakanda?
