It seems Whedon's doing his best to make his show more Marvely...
...as Lady Sif will appear in Episode 15.
I know, smells a bit like desperation to me.
But, there were times when the cameo appearance worked.
It feels like Sif is getting added to essentially shut people (like me) up.
How exactly will Sif be written into the show?
Will someone "accidentally" be sent to Asgard?
I know - Sif comes to Midgard to collect Peter MacNicol and the staff, 'cause "it's all connected".
Yeah, I nag about this show, but mostly because I really wanted it to be good, and it's been mediocre at best.
Here's an example of what I mean...

* In Episode 2, we learned that 0-8-4 was SHIELD code for an unexplained object. Turned out it was a piece of HYDRA tech hidden in a tomb in Peru. There's no explanation as to how the German tech found it's way to Peru...or how it was hidden inside a much older structure. But after gaining the item, what does SHIELD do with it? Send it into space.
Why couldn't it have been something much cooler like...I dunno...the thing Loki stabbed Thor with in Avengers that had Thor's blood on it? And forget the ancient tomb, have them find it in Peru on the black market...like so much Chitauri tech seems to wind up...and send that into space.
The series has been hot and cold all season, but ratings have been strong enough that I'm sure we'll get a Season 2.
Which is a good thing, because Star Trek: The Next Generation didn't really get "good" until Season 3.
As for this season, it's summed up best by Team Screened over at Screened.com:
They say Battle of New York this, Asgard that. Arrow says Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Shadows and it fits. Arrow gives the hints of a expanded universe, SHIELD keeps trying to remind you it’s in one.
'Nuff said...for now.
