First Impressions - Gotham: "The Fearsome Dr. Crane"

This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
It's just my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once (a la AoS).
Spoilers after the jump.
You've been warned...

Episode 14: "The Fearsome Dr. Crane"
The Good:
Julian Sands? I haven't seen him since...
...and...

A cop who's afraid of decaf coffee = awesome!

The Bad: Having Sands be Scarecrow's father? I guess it makes sense, given Bruce's age at this point, but I would have preferred Jonathan wasn't a passive observer to his father's work.

The WTF?:
Jim - when you enter your ex-fiance's apartment...and find Cat there...whom you know to be a sneaky character...and you want her to stick around? Cuff her to something! You can't be "surprised" when she up and runs out the window and over the ledge. You're a better cop than that.

Adorkification Moment:
Nygma can pick locks!
As for Cobblepot, he's pretty freakin' savvy...but even I knew the gun wasn't really loaded.
