First Impressions - Flash: "Crazy for You"

This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
It's just my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once (a la AoS).
Spoilers after the jump.
You've been warned...

Episode 12: "Crazy for You"
The Good:
We get us some Firestorm beginnings!
We see Stern but don't "meet" him yet, and that's okay, but seeing Ronnie's face in the wave reminded my of Aquaman's face in the water on Smallville. It looked too photoshopped.

Henry learns about his son..sort of.

The Bad:
I don't care how smart Cisco is...he's an idiot.
There's no reason whatsoever for him to let Pied Piper out of his cage. At first, this exchange felt like Cisco was playing Agent Clarice to Piper's Hannibal. I guess the point was to show how "young" Cisco still is despite his intelligence.
Like the shirts he wears and the names he comes up with weren't enough of a clue...
I will say that having Cisco come up with the cuffs was smart, and he knows how to fight. But dude, never sit at a computer with your back to the bad guy. Ever.

The WTF?:
How is a spark faster than Barry? Was that just to prove that he's slower than light? If it was, then maybe it could have been a little more obvious. Also - how is he able to vibrate the lock in a car door without vibrating the car door?

Who's in charge of feeding and cleaning up after the villains locked up in the basement?

Oh...HELL NO!
For viewers who never caught Grant on Glee - he can sing, and sing very well. I'll also allow the fact that both Barry and Caitlin needed to blow off some steam and start finding "lives". But whoever in the writer's room thought this pairing would be a good idea should kneel in the corner for an hour. Having Barry take her out of the bar before she puked showed he's a good friend. Having him speed-change her into pajamas?
Nonono. Nonono. Nu-uh. That's just awkward to hell.

Linda Park? Isn't she Wally's girl? Or in Superboy's title?

Adorkification Moment:
Yup - there's the season ending cliffhanger right there.
