First Impressions - Gotham: 'Viper'

This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
It's just my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once (a la AoS).
Spoilers after the jump.
You've been warned...

Episode 5: 'Viper'
The Good: Seeing what Mooney's plan with the singer was.
* Nice anti-drug message...as in the shirt the musician/first viper-taker wore.
* Seeing Selena again.
* Catch that Zorro clip before the first news bulletin?
* Watching young Bruce in action at the luncheon. Sign of things to come.
* "What's Altruism?"
* Alfred helping Bruce with the Detecting after what happens at the luncheon. Bruce getting his first partner? Priceless.
* I also like that Wayne Enterprises is dirty. It gives Bruce something to clean up before he takes on the whole city.

The Bad: Having to sit through the show to find out what Mooney's plan with the singer was.
* I remember tape players. When you press STOP, and then press PLAY, the music continues where it was stopped. NOT BACK AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SINGING.
* Oswald making a mess of things by saying his name. He's too smart to make a mistake like that.
* The scene with Mooney and the Russian guy. Did we need to really need to see that to get that they're working together to take down Falcone?
* Speaking of Falcone and cassettes players, did the singer pull out a Walkman?

The WTF?: Why would Gordon shout to Selena from across the street? It would have been cooler if he tracked her into an alley or onto a rooftop...and then have her give him the slip.

Adorkification Moment: I counted three...
1)
Nope. Didn't see it coming.
I know.
2) Did Gordon say MCU? I know that on Gotham it means Major Crimes Unit...where Montoya and Allen work...but MCU? Do they have to pay Kevin Feige for that?

3) That scene where the gas was entering the ballroom? Was anyone else thinking Smilex?
