First Impressions - Arrow: 'Corto Maltese'

This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
It's just my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once (a la AoS).
Spoilers after the jump.
You've been warned...

Season 3 Episode 3: 'Corto Maltese'
The Good: Felicity doing what Felicity does...in front of Ray.
* Watching Detective Lance take care of the abusive boyfriend without exposing the AA connection.
* Oliver using the hotel room to make weapons...especially when a gun can suffice.

The Bad: The time jumping with Thea and Merlyn. I get why it was done, but I'm so used to that being about Oliver "five years ago" that it confused me when it was about these two "six months ago".
* Laurel had another chance to tell her father about Sara...and didn't.

The WTF?: It took that long for Laurel to take up Ted Grant's offer for training?

Adorkification Moment: Ted "Wildcat" Grant. I expected him to be older, like maybe 30?, but whatever.
