First Impressions - Arrow: 'Sara'

This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
It's just my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once (a la AoS).
Spoilers after the jump.
You've been warned...

Season 3 Episode 2: 'Sara'
The Good: Laurel becoming Black Canary II.
* Thea becoming one of Merlyn's warriors.
* Felicity working for Palmer. I wouldn't be surprised if she either helps him find the Atom...stuff, or helps him design the suit.

The Bad: Laurel blatently becoming Black Canary II.
* Sara's killer being one of the great questions of the season...when it was obviously Merlyn.

The WTF?: Why the hell didn't Laurel tell her father about Sara? He knew Sara was doing dangerous work, and being a cop is constantly in danger himself. So learning that his daughter is dead - as painful as it will be - wouldn't be that much of a shock. My guess is that when he does find out, he'll be more upset about not knowing sooner, because knowing the truth is way better than being kept in the dark.

Adorkification Moment: Corto Maltese. I always associated that place with Bane, and Nanda Parbat with Merlyn, but whatever.
