Some Daredevil casting news...
This guy, Charlie Cox, is playing Hornhead.
Not knowing anything about this guy, I looked him up on IMDb to see if I saw him in anything...
...nope...
...nuh uh...
...nnnnno...
So I still don't know who he is, and of all the pics I saw, the one above is the least "goof-ish" where he at least looks kind of lawyer-y.
And as weird as this casting may seem, Marvel's made weirder calls,
and things worked out in the end.
But the bigger WTF? for the day...
...is the revelation behind Marvel Studios and Edgar Wright's parting-of-the-ways.

Apparently, Kevin Feige's been asking/ordering/whatevering for rewrites to the Ant-Man script. And it's been speculated that the reasoning behind his actions is that Feige et. al. has put a lot on the line with Guardians of the Galaxy - mostly, because of...
so everyone at Marvel Studios wants to "play it safe" with Ant-Man, their next film after Avengers 2. Said re-writes were moving away from Wright's vision, resulting in Wright leaving the project.
Honestly? I totally get both sides of the argument.
Wright's vision was clearly stated from the beginning and granted, he had to work to sell Marvel Studios on the idea, but there were no surprises in the direction Wright wanted to go.
Meanwhile, Feige et. al. are putting a lot on the line with GotG (and CA: TWS, and IM3, and even T: TDW), and should move back towards what most moviegoers like me want: a superhero film where the heroes act...you know...super like and...you know...beat the bad guys and...you know...win.
Which is why I've been saying from the get-go that Ant-Man should have been made first (going with whatever Wright's vision was, 'cause it'd been funny), follow that up with Avengers 2, and then take that extra risk outside the comfort zone with a film featuring a talking raccoon.
W...T...F...?
But, it should be noted that this news comes from source(s) outside of either camp...meaning that neither Wright or Feige is throwing dirt.
It also means this could be nothing more than groundless rumor, but it does make sense.
None of this affects my eagerness to see Ant-Man or GotG for that matter, so...
