I know, I know...I missed a day. Sorry.
It opens this today (or yesterday afternoon - probably)!
I heard that Bryan Singer's a little upset that the X-Men Franchise is being compared to that of Marvel Studios' Avengers. Uh, Singer...get over it. They're both based on Marvel Comics. Of course they're going to be compared. And as for not having a character as popular as Iron Man in your mutant films...
I think you're forgettin' someone.
What else is going on...
There was an interview with the cast and Kevin Feige recently.
In addition to Karen Gillan being asked the obligatory Doctor Who questions, it was revealed that there will be some easter eggs about other comic book Guardians of the past, as well as Avengers 2.
Really? No kidding?
Did anything else happen while I was away?
Anything at all?
Wait...what..?
W...T...F...?
Seriously? They're going with Superman v Batman Dawn of Justice?
What does this tell us?
It tells me that instead of going the Avengers route, or even the reverse (meaning that they start with the group and then spin off into separate franchises), DC/WB plans to have a single film franchise using whoever they can get their hands on.
You said it recent-reunion-of-Firefly-cast.
(Although they should have pulled the camera back to show Wash's dead body on the floor in front of them...)
Happy Friday all!
