First Impressions - Agent Carter: "Valediction"

This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
It's just my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once (a la AoS).
Spoilers after the jump.
You've been warned...

Episode 8: "Valediction"
The Good: The radio show. "Betty Carver"? I liked it. Speaking of radio...

Valediction means, among other things, "a word or phrase used to end a letter or message". Not only did Steve not make it home, Peggy never even said goodbye. Here, not only did she use the radio to get Howard back home, she finally said goodbye to Steve.

Sousa using ear-plugs. Genius. Would have done the same thing. 'Course, I would have shot the bastard, but whatever...

Thompson taking credit. Not cool, but predictable. As likable an ass as he is, he's an ass first, likable second.

 Kinda like that other guy...

Having Howard Stark fly the plane. I have to say that's a stroke of poetic justice, even for crazy Russian plan.

The Bad:
Did she have to dump the blood into the river? (Assuming it even was Steve's blood. My $ says the real vial - or another vial of it - was used to help convert Bucky into Winter Soldier.)

She got away?

The WTF?:
So, was Leviathan the name of the plan to spray that gas over Times Square on V-E day? If so, what did the train coming have to do with anything? But let's talk about that gas...

Adorkification Moment:
This is Hate-Monger. Never mind who's under the hood.
See that gun he's holding? That isn't a regular gun. No sir. That gun emits stuff that promotes hate. To everyone he points it at. According to the books it works using radiation, but I think it's kinda like a gas. Just sayin...

Like grandfather, like grandson...

Zola's back! But he didn't say the words...
...'cause I was waitin'!
