Hey Pepe.
Not a lot to talk about this week...
Not a lot to talk about this week...
HTTM2 has made all of $11.8 million after two and a half weeks. Still shy of it's $14 million budget, but getting there. I'm surprised HTTM2 hasn't been released overseas,
especially since Jupiter Ascending made $23 million this weekend in China.
Anyways -
you may have also heard that American Sniper has made more than The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1. And that's true...in the States. Worldwide however, AS is at $500.2 million while Mockingjay is at $751.9 million. I'm not saying Sniper doesn't have a chance, but it's got a ways to go.
Did you know Hugh Jackman was in a new film? 'Cause I sure didn't.
Way to keep it on the DL dude...
But Chappie was the top moneymaker of the weekend, with $13.3 million made in the U.S. and another $13.7 million elsewhere. It fell short of meeting it's $49 million budget, but I think this is due to people staying home.
We had to change out clocks yesterday - moving it forward an hour - which messed us all up.
'Cause no one likes losing an hour.
Have a good week everyone!
