Hello all!
Guess what?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) made the most money ($65.6 million) in the U.S. over the weekend!
Worldwide, it made $94.2 million, putting it solidly in third place of all TMNT films. It's roughly $1.3 million behind 2007's TMNT (the CGI one...featuring the voices of Chris Evans, Laurence Fishburne, Kevin Smith and Patrick Stewart) and a whopping $107.7 million behind the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from 1990.
That's not bad.
Meanwhile...
...is up to $313.8 million worldwide.
I thought it would beat Captain America by today, but it didn't. It missed by a measly $57 million. Now this film is only two weeks old, so I'm sure it will beat CA soon enough. Next in line is Thor with $449.3 million. That's a ways away, but I can see it happening by September.
And don't forget -
there's more goodies coming!
Have a good week everyone.
