First Impressions - Constantine: 'The Saint of Last Resorts: Part 2'

This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
It's just my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once (a la AoS).
Spoilers after the jump.
You've been warned...

Episode 9: 'The Saint of Last Resorts Part 2'
The Good: I can be dim at times, but this episode seemed to revolve around two themes: Faith and Loyalty. Speaking of loyalty...
Chas = awesome.
He went down into the sewer to get John without knowing what else was down there or what state John would be in. He isn't even fazed when John's possessed self mentions Chas' daughter. He's got John's back. Always.
*
 Zed = more awesome.
She fights her way out of a kidnapping, takes the next plane down to Mexico (how exactly? Did she have money?) and does what's needed to get in...and out...of prison. She's warned to stay away from John but chooses to stay anyway. I just wish she'd tell John and Chas about her past. They'd help.
The Bad:
Manny's a cool character, but...
Why is he so pissed at John for calling a demon to save him? Yelling at John for not asking him, or God, or whomever to help him?
When someone who's helped Heaven in the past is facing a demonic being while bleeding out in a sewer, you'd think that a heavenly being would do the right thing and help. Then again, for all the power angels may have - Manny included - this whole "non-involvement" thing is pissing me off.  Where's the loyalty here?
The WTF?: John's arrested after killing five men. They were all bad, but still...five men. When in prison, he naturally meets up with other members of the same gang who clearly know why John was arrested. They get the little guy to trap John in a room for payback, but only send three gang members in to do the deed? There were more than three members in the earlier scene, and given that John's already killed five, why didn't they all go?
While Anne-Marie's method of distracting the guards was clever and funny, I thought she had to a) be wearing (or not) what her "image" projected, and b) either moving (or not) while she did it. I'm guessing some liberty was taken there.

Adorkification Moment: I didn't catch any references. Were there any?
