First Impressions - Agent Carter: 'Now is Not the End'

This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
It's just my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once (a la AoS).
Spoilers after the jump.
You've been warned...

Episode 1: 'Now is Not the End'
The Good:
Loved that intro...
* The sets. Marvel Studios has money to spend, and it shows.
Howard and the Government, like father...speaking of which,
The Howard plot sounded familiar...
Which isn't a bad thing, I loved the Armor Wars story in the books, and having Howard deal with that problem is a nice spin.
Jarvis rocked!
MORE! NOW!

The Bad: Leviathan? Really?
These guys love their giant monster metaphors don't they?

The WTF?: The end, where Jarvis is on the phone with Howard. They're talking about Carter and hoe "shw has no idea...". Are they saying this is all Howard's plan from the beginning?
First off, there's no way Howard's a traitor. Second, even if he was, Carter'd kick his ass all the way back to Europe. Third, even if he was, and survived Carter's wrath, there's no way he'd get Stark Industries to where it was when he died.
Speaking of Howard...
In the Agent Carter short, we see him tell Carter's C.O. at SSR that she's leaving the them to head S.H.I.E.L.D. - so does that after this series? Did it not work out, so she had to go back to the SSR?  The Hell?
* I thought Carter's mission was to get Howard's formula back. Granted, she found the item by accident, which led her to the giant milk truck full of them, but...what happened to the formula? Did she find it? Did she give it to Jarvis? Did she burn it?

Adorkification Moment: I found two. First, the obvious...
Anton Vanko!
Seeing him here, I can't imagine him becoming the traitor Fury talks about in Iron Man 2. In fact, knowing that Vanko is replaced by Obadiah Stane (and knowing what happens to him), my guess is either a) Stane frames Vanko for something he did to get Vanko out of the way, or b) Leviathan HYDRA orders Stane to frame Vanko for something he did to get Vanko out of the way.
Secondly...
Did anyone else notice the Lucky Star cab Carter got into?
