WTF? Saturday 12/27/2014...Phase Three Part Seven...Part One

I'd like to say I intentionally skipped Part One and went right into Captain Marvel (which I know comes after), but I'd be lying. It was a goof. My bad.
Onto the movie...
I get that certain projects are too big to cram into one film.
Thus the need for a "part two".
But couldn't the second film just be a sequel? A separate film that continues the story after the first one?
It's worked before...
But while this one story is being broken into two parts, I want to focus on Part One for now.
Looking at "the map", we see that Part One falls after Black Panther. This makes me wonder if T'Challa would even appear in this film. Marvel Studios has played both sides of that fence - Tony appeared at the end of Incredible Hulk, but Thor didn't appear at the end of Captain America: The First Avenger (which, by the way, would have easily explained how he got to Earth from Asgard...but screw that).
(ahem)
As I may have mentioned before, I envision Part One being all about Thanos collecting the stones from everywhere and putting them together...
...in the Gauntlet he steals from Asgard.
The more I think about it, will we even see these guys in Part One? Or will it be all Guardians of the Galaxy and Celestials and Elders of the Universe?
I can TOTALLY see that happening. And that's not a bad thing.
And since Captain Marvel comes next, we'll most likely see Carol Danvers at some point.
She'll get zapped in some way, or more likely be on a mission for the Air Force when something happens and she winds up in the Guardians' part of the galaxy.
Wouldn't it be cool if this ended up being Danvers' origin story? She gets her powers, and learns about them in her solo film...
...and returns to Earth for "the big one"?
But chances are she'll bring Black Bolt and the others with her, since this happens before Part Two.
Is it wrong to be so impatient? I mean I'd still pay full ticket price to see all of these films, but I wanna know now dammit!
Don't look at me like that. You know you want to too.
