It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone which film took the top spot this weekend...
Thor: TDW made over $38 million in the States, bringing it's total Domestic Gross to $146.9 million.
When we add in the Foreign Market, we're looking at roughly $479.7 million worldwide.
In eighteen days.
Now, will this film meet Iron Man 3's numbers?
Probably not.
IM3 ran in theaters for 20 weeks when it broke $1 billion.
Thor, on the other hand, ran for 19 weeks and made 'only' $449 million worldwide.
Catch that? Thor: TDW has made more in 18 days than Thor did in 19 weeks.
Not bad...not bad at all.
