This is Glenn Talbot, as portrayed by Adrian Pasdar.
I saw Pasdar most recently in the final season of Burn Notice. He looked scary-warrior-tough, versus the politician he played in Heroes. It was good to see him do something so different and far removed from that NBC train wreck.
Now they're bringing him and Talbot into the MMU on AoS. That opens a window to a bigger picture:
We've been assuming/hoping/wishing/gossiping that the "Clairvoyant" mentioned throughout the series was MODOK. But with Talbot showing up, there's another possibility...
...the Clairvoyant might be the Leader.
W...T...F...?
It would be cool if Tim Blake Nelson returned to the role, but my big hope is that whoever the Clairvoyant is, we find out by season's end. Even if Coulson's team is still in the dark.
Like knowing Slade Wilson was alive months before Queen did.
