Monday Movie Roundup...2/10/2014

Well hows about that...
The Lego Movie was the big winner this weekend, making over $69 million.
Not only that, but it made more than $18 million overseas,
giving it a worldwide total of $87.2 million.
Not bad for something that cost $60 million to make.
Speaking of expensive films to make...
Ocean's Fourteen The Monuments Men, which cost $70 million,
has only made back $22.7 million so far.
I guess people can't see two different films over two days.
So that takes care of the kids and the grown-ups, but what about the tweens?
They're covered.
Vampire Academy made over $4 million none of which came from Adorkette, but school vacation week is coming...
The Hobbit: TDoS and The Hunger Games: CF are still out there, if anyone hasn't seen either yet.
I, Frankenstein is in the mix, with another $1.4 million in the bank.
It's at $33.6 million worldwide right now, and while it probably won't make back the $65 million budget,
I can see it making a nice "creature double feature" with Vampire Academy.
Speaking of films I'm kinda rooting for...
The Invisible Woman made another $57,000 this weekend.
As of this morning, it's at $981,300 total.
Could it break $1 million by Valentine's Day?
Have a good day everyone!
