This is by no means a deeply intense dissection of the episode.
That will happen over the summer after my purchase of the Blu-ray.
I've put my quick comments and notes after seeing the episode only once after the jump.
You've been warned...
Adorkification Moment: Like most of the episodes thus far, the Adorkiest moments are set-ups with the potential of delivery more so than actual moments. The final bit with Coulson learning what the baddies want from him is the best example of this. Note to all involved: DON'T KEEP TEASING US! DELIVER...OR WE WILL BE PISSED!
The Good: I felt there was a lot less whining this episode. Less exposition. More action. Thank You!
The Bad: They might want to be careful about throwing names like Captain America around. While I'm sure Cap's time is better, there's no way he's able to push that much weight...anymore than he's able to punch holes into the side of a building before climbing it.
* Someone better tell Skye that "a clairvoyant that can see the future" is redundant.
* Making it look like Coulson died in the explosion was cool, showing the team that he's really taken away in the helicopter wasn't.
* Making everyone think Peterson died in the second explosion? Also (as Tony would say) "not awesome".
* Now that things are getting much better, the show has to go and disappear...
The WTF?: ...for four weeks?
