Monday Movie Roundup...9/30/2013

Well, looks like people went to the movies this weekend...

...because Rush went from 38th place last weekend to 3rd, 

bringing in over $23 million to date worldwide, and the $38 million pricetag within reach.

Now, who else has films out...

Bearded Hugh Jackman had a film released last weekend...which I totally missed because of Jake Gyllenhaal.

Prisoners has brought in more than $45 million worldwide in two weeks. 

Not too shabby...especially since the film cost $46 million to make.

The there's Scarlett Johansson's latest:

1) This film cost $6 million to make.

2) It's been out three days (not counting today).

3) It made $9 million.

...

Yeah, you could say it was Johansson's New Jersey accent that did it.

 You could say it was all JGL (who wrote and directed the thing).

But here's the true reason behind the film's success so far...

TONY...FREAKIN'...DANZA!!!

No disrespect to Springsteen, but Danza's the boss...he'll always be the boss...

...and he owned this weekend like a boss.

I loved him in Cannonball Run II...
