Anyway, according to Robinov, their "plan" is to indeed use Man of Steel as the first installment of an official DC Movie Universe.

Which means that Nolan's Batman Begins trilogy - much like the cheese - stands alone.

Plus, according to MoS Director Zack Snyder:

* and it's possible...possible mind you...that Kal-El's had his powers from birth, like ON KRYPTON!
