Puck Part 20: Alpha Flight #27 (October, 1985)

Puck spends the entire issue out cold, missing some cool stuff.

I have this issue.

The story begins with Judd being carried around like an unwanted doll by Diamond Lil. “Dark Guardian”, a reprogrammed Delphine Courtney, begins torturing Talisman and that brings Shaman, Aurora and Box to the mall where Omega Flight is waiting for them. Shaman’s pouch is taken and turned inside out, which unleashes the void within, which starts consuming the real world – including the still unconscious Judd and other Alphans. Talisman succeeds in putting the void back in the pouch, thus rescuing Judd and the others, but she’s trapped inside, and Shaman is devastated.

Notes of Interest:

1) Did I mention that Judd is out through the whole thing?

WTF? Moment: To be fair, Northstar is also unconscious the whole issue, and Heather is knocked out before the void takes her as well. So it’s not like Judd’s the only one missing the fun, but still…
