Ohhhh s#!t...

I saw this pic, and apparently there's going to be a Super Bowl teaser/trailer focusing on this:

I have to work this weekend, so I'll miss the thing, but I'll be able to see it online by Monday.

Still, I see this film going the way of Empire Strikes Back, where things get worse before they get better.

Here are my thoughts -
1) This is the only Iron Man film coming out prior to Avengers 2. Assuming this film ends with him on a low, our only hope is that Tony will cameo elsewhere in the MMU and pick himself up throughout the other films, so he returns to heroic status by A2.

2) Phase 2...whatever that is...starts here, and according to Wikipedia Guardians of the Galaxy is the last film to be released before Avengers 2. It's safe to assume Phase 2 ends with A2.

Could Tony could wind up in a bad place...maybe even "lost in space"...by the end of IM3, only to reappear with the Guardians in GotG leading up to A2?

Is it possible that after learning about other worlds in Avengers, Fury may have learned about potential allies on other worlds and just send Tony to space to find them...and possibly gather and lead them by GotG?

Is May really only three months away?
