Monday Movie Roundup...8/3/2015

Hello Pepe!

After another $12.6 million over the weekend, Ant-Man has made over $132 million in the States. Worldwide, it's at $291.6 million - putting it more than $25 million over The Incredible Hulk.

It's still about $90 million away from Monsters Vs. Aliens,
roughly $8 million behind Real Steel,
and about $9 million behind Fatal Attraction.
So they're alright.

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation made $121 million worldwide over the weekend, $56 million of that from the U.S., making it the top grosser. I'm not a big fan of Cruise, but anything with Jack Donaghy in it's a plus.
And in second place:
Why?
I get the premise. Rusty Griswold is all grown up (and doesn't look a thing like Anthony Michael Hall), and takes his family on a vacation...across the country...to Wally World.
(sigh...)
At least there's cameos by Clark and Ellen, and we see what happened to Audrey. But still...Wally World?
Some things you just have to let go of...
Have a good week everyone!
