Terminator: Genisys has made $440 million worldwide.
Using worldwide numbers, T: G is second top grossing film of the franchise...behind Terminator 2: Judgement Day (which is at $519.8 million).Interesting to note - T: G was directed by Alan Taylor...director of Thor: The Dark World. What's also interesting is that T: TDW has made over $200 million MORE than T: G worldwide ($644.8 million) - and yes, that's also more than T: JD.
Growing up in the '80's, I never would have believed that a Marvel movie would ever make more than a Schwarzenegger film. Ever. Today, eight of them have made more than Judgement Day. Holy crap.
Fant4stic is at $160.7 million worldwide.
What's noteworthy here is that as of today, Fant4stic has made more outside the U.S. ($105.4 million) than Green Lantern ($103.2 million), even though GL still made more worldwide ($219.8 million).
Ant-Man is at $394.7 million worldwide.
It's still solidly in tenth place of all MCU films, which is a respectable place to be. But for the life of me, I can't understand how Guardians did so much better...
...(sigh)...
