I have this issue.
Russian terrorists have taken over a British Naval nuclear submarine
as the Avengers and the People’s Protectorate battle Orka, U-Man and an
Atlantean army. The terrorists surface in Conception
Bay , St. John’s , Newfoundland ,
Canada
Notes of Interest:
1) While there is no actual reference in the story that this
issue takes place after Alpha Flight
#90, I think that since Judd is out of the hospital and a young dwarf again it
makes sense.
2) This is the first time Judd meets Sersi, Crimson Dynamo
and Perun.
WTF? Moment: Here
we have Judd and Alpha Flight in yet another story featuring the Avengers and
Atlanteans, but I have to admit that the plot of them getting involved in a
potential nuclear disaster is a nice twist.
