Look, I understand that DC has been struggling to get attention for a while, and someone, somewhere, decided that 2012 was going to be THE year for them.

But this is going too damn far…

There’s no need for this, and as far as I knew there was no demand for this from fans.

Have the Star Wars prequels taught them nothing?

To be honest, as much as I hate/loathe/detest this idea, it would have made sense if they did this back when the Watchmen universe was one of the 52 in existence after 52. But they dropped the ball.

News to DC – Not every ball that is dropped can be picked up and run in for a touchdown.

Sometimes, a dead ball is just a dead ball.

And DC…this ball is dead!
