Okay Pepe, let's discuss the movie everyone's talking about.
No. Not that one.
YES!!!
So - it made more than $84.9 million in the States over opening weekend. It made another $240.4 million everywhere else, making the worldwide total over $325.3 million. That puts it at Marvel Studios' 13th spot.
Know what that means? It means Doctor Strange has made more in four days than Incredible Hulk did in it's entire run.
And I'm totally okay with that.
In fact, Doctor Strange has made more worldwide than at least 10 other Benedict Cumberbatch-starring films, including 12 Years a Slave, Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy, and The Imitation Game.
It's even just $150 million away from Star Trek Into Darkness!
Exactly!
On a side note: Mrs Adorkification and I saw it over the weekend,
in 3D no less (her choice),
and I really like how they incorporated Strange's medical knowledge into the story after he began studying sorcery...when he can't perform procedures himself anymore.
(And if you want to call that a spoiler, don't. His being a doctor was in the trailers. Every. One.)
But my point is this:
Claire is a (Night) nurse.
She knows three of the four Defenders already. She'll most likely show up somewhere in Iron Fist and she's gonna show up in Defenders. So wouldn't it be cool if at some point during Infinity War someone's gonna need an emergency procedure,
and the Doctor...
...stop it...
...and the Doctor knows what needs to be done to save them - but can't do it himself,
and Claire comes to the rescue? Being his hands while he talks her through it?
DAMN STRAIGHT!!!
Have a good week Pepe!
