Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: "The Singularity" (WTF? Friday...4/29/2016)

I know I've stopped reviewing this show regularly, but this latest episode had me pulling some hair out...
What was Fitz doing with that briefcase?
The only reason he and Simmons were at the party was to meet that British doctor dude from Four Weddings and a Funeral. And the only reason they hat a shot at meeting the doctor was because of the tech in the briefcase. Tech that the Delphine Courtney knock-off offered to take to the doctor for them - defeating the purpose of meeting the doctor. So why would Fitz leave the briefcase on the other end of that sofa to talk with Simmons? That "robot-woman" could have just taken it. Or had someone else take it.

When did Inhumans trump HYDRA?
One of the biggest mistakes of this show was the exclusion of all things Mutant. I understand that FOX had/has the rights to the word (which makes no sense to me whatsoever), but instead of tapping Marvel's gold mine of corrupt businesses, twisted doctors and crime families to bring various villains to life, AoS went the alien route. Which would have been okay, given the hundreds of alien races in the Marvel Universe. But they didn't introduce the Watchers...or the Badoon...or the Dire Wraiths. They limited themselves to the Kree and the Inhumans.
That not only closed the door on introducing other "altered-human" races like the Eternals, they shoved HYDRA - the main purpose for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s existence in the first place - completely aside. So much so that we didn't even get to see Coulson's team finish off HYDRA's infrastructure in any way

Daisy
After three years of making her a known character...and a badass...they made her evil.

W...T...F...?

Then there's the other crap, such as:

  • the ridiculousness of making that Australian dude an Inhuman version of Gambit
  • the fact that Coulson's team had a good idea (contacting the female Inhuman) that the baddies beat them to...AGAIN
  • the stupidity of Lincoln's suicide vest. Instead of being full of bombs meant to kill him, why not water balloons?
Which brings me to the big one :
  • while everyone's focused on creating a 'cure' for Inhumanism, no one's thought about ways to neutralize their individual powers. I'm not saying S.H.I.E.L.D. has to be Batman, but if something's going around turning Inhumans evil, and you've got Inhumans on your team, brainstorming ways to turn off the abilities of those around you just makes sense. There's enough brain and mechanical engineering savvy between Fitz, Simmons and Mack to make it happen.
You can't tell me Xavier and Scott don't have plans in place if Hank, Bobby, Kitty or Logan went rogue.
Just sayin'...
