First Impressions - Warm Bodies

If Zombies were this popular back in the eighties, this movie would have been made back then.

I had to remind myself that this was a novel first and John Hughes died back in 2009, because his fingerprints are all over this film. Well, his and Shakespeare's (down to the balcony scene).

I'm calling this my second favorite Zombie film (falling just behind Zombieland).

Teresa Palmer reminded me of Kristen Stewart, and it took me a while to recognize the male lead as Beast from X-Men: First Class but other than that, Adorkette and I thoroughly enjoyed the film.

Go see it...it's pretty good and only a little scary.

And now - my Zombie film pick of the year:

Warm Bodies...

As any Adorkification reader knows, I hate zombies.

So naturally, Mrs. Adorkification and Adorkette sat me down and made me watch the trailer above.

Laughed my ass off.

It comes out February 1st (just in time for Groundhog Day), aaaand I guess I'll go see it...

...eventually.
